Consett Local is a business advertising and community website for the local people of Consett. It was founded in 2006 by Darren Murphy and Linda and Malcolm Gettings (contact details can be found in 'contact us' with the aim of providing a 'one stop shop' for local residents to find contact details of local businesses, as well as other information such as opening times and menus for restaurants and as a forum whereby local organisations could communicate promotions, offers and events and other news. The sales support team have resided locally for many years and have a great deal of understanding of local businesses and the community, including the warm comunity spirit!
